The words "Naked Void" came to be after deep diving into some of Bach's music. It is an attempt to give a name to something you face when, in your daily life, you touch the eternity and freeze in awe. But the piece was conceived independently from these words — from a random synth riff in 13/8 that we've lightheartedly nicknamed "Waltz". After a few jams it was kicked into the long grass — there were no contrasting themes to prevent it from turning into a boring noodle over a single "hook".

Only during the lockdown, at the time of reflection, we were able to look at the idea with a fresh eye. The piece got its bass pulse, grew some necessary riffs and a "Welcome to the Machine"-inspired Moog solo. But most importantly — got its spirit and connected to that peculiar feeling of contact with the Void. It's this void we are trying to build a relationship with in the music.
